Focus Groups

There has been a change in the format of data collection. Interviews will be replaced with focus groups. This is a more flexible way of collecting data, where participants have more control over what they wish to contribute during the session. In this method, teachers gather together and discuss a topic initiated by the researcher. The discussions revolve around their experiences as English teachers in Turkey and the differences compared to their own countries. Participants have complete freedom to share their thoughts and there is no obligation to speak on every matter. The researcher aims to lead the session in a friendly and informative manner while showing respect for each person in the focus group. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. You are going to receive a text message about this soon. Thanks again.
