Welcome to Teach Turkiye English website! My name is Majid Ghyasi, and I am a Ph.D. student at the Middle East Technical University (METU). My research focus is on identity studies, specifically the identity of teachers of English. I am passionate about exploring the complex ways in which identity shapes our experiences and interactions with the world around us. Through my research, I aim to shed light on the nuanced ways in which identity intersects with self-understanding, teaching practices, pedagogy, and the broader educational landscape.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I am also a teacher of English, which has further deepened my understanding of the importance of identity in shaping our professional lives as teachers.
